Once again, heavy snow greeted #1 Platoon on their day of work with about ten inches of accumulation. Not only did the snow hamper the area, but heavy winds created white out conditions. The District of Columbia ordered all snow plows off the road during the storm for safety reasons, but the DCFD kept going. Engine 11 ran 20 calls for the day and Truck 6 ran 11 calls. With this additional snow, totals have reached 60" total for the winter season thus far.
