Engine 11 (1st Due), Truck 6 (1st Due), and Battalion 4 responded for the Apartment Fire at 2905 11th St., NW. Engine 11 arrived to find a 4-story apartment building with smoke showing. Units found fire on several floors in numerous apartments. A significant amount of Truck work was required, thus requiring a 2nd alarm requested by the Operations Deputy. Units from the 4th Battalion worked for several hours opening up and hitting hot spots.
